   Click on this link www.archives.gov/veterans/military-service-records to go to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) online military personnel records request system. Use the system to create a customized order form to request information from your, or your relative's, military personnel records.  The NARA is the official repository for records of military personnel who have been discharged from the U.S. Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Coast Guard.
Department of Veterans Affairs Online Directory of Veterans Service Organizations
   The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Web site is a worldwide resource that provides information on VA programs, veterans benefits, VA facilities worldwide, and VA medical automation software. Made available on September 1994, the site serves several major constituencies, including the veteran and his or her dependents, Veterans Service Organizations, the military, the general public, and VA employees around the world. These documents are easily accessible and richly linked from their table of contents, as well as searchable by keyword.

The Veterans Service Organizations Directory  The Online Directory of Veterans Service Organizations is published as an informational service by the Office of the Secretary of Veterans Affairs.
  This up-to-date, database driven website allows you to view VSO information in a variety of ways.

FirstGov - Your First Click to the U. S. Government Veterans Benefits Handbook

   In September 2000,  FirstGov was launched to provide the only official U.S. Government portal to 30 million pages of government information, services, and online transactions.
   The site offers a powerful search engine that searches every word of every U.S. government document in a quarter of a second or less.
   FirstGov.gov also features a topical index, online transactions, links to state and local government, options to contact your government, and other tools so you don't have to know the name of the government agency to get the information you want anytime you want it.
A new edition of the Department of Veterans Affairs' popular handbook "Federal Benefits for Veterans and Dependents" updates the rates for certain federal payments and outlines a variety of programs and benefits for American veterans. The handbook can be downloaded free from VA's Web site: www1.va.gov/opa/publications/benefits_book.asp   In addition to health-care and burial benefits, veterans may be eligible for programs providing home loan guarantees, educational assistance, training and vocational rehabilitation, income assistance pensions, life insurance and compensation for service-connected illnesses or disabilities.

  The inspiration for the Chapel and its mission comes from the courageous acts of the four Army Chaplains who were serving aboard the USAT DORCHESTER when it was hit by an enemy torpedo and sank in the North Atlantic on February 3, 1943.

Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
"Here Rests In Honored Glory An American Soldier Known But To God"

  The Tomb contains the remains of unknown American soldiers from World Wars I and II, the Korean Conflict and (until 1998) the Vietnam War. Each was presented with the Medal of Honor at the time of interment and the medals, as well as the flags which covered their caskets, are on display inside the Memorial Amphitheater, directly to the rear of the Tomb.
   The Tomb is guarded 24-hours-per-day and 365-days-per year by specially trained members of the 3rd United States Infantry (The Old Guard).
