Vintage National Convention Programs & Medals
   Some of the more colorful National American Legion Convention programs and the corresponding medals from my collection.
   The medals were given to the participants from the first convention in 1919 thru 1983. In 1984 (the 66th national convention) the medals could be purchased but were not issued. The American Legion still makes some traditional badges with the legion ribbon but only for distinguished guest or officers.
