The Post Needs Your Help

   Legion Baseball has been a tradition since it was founded in 1925. The Legion program has made it possible for thousands of young boys to play organized baseball during the summer. Many of our high school, college and professional players have come through the Legion Baseball programs. There are forty-three Baseball Hall of Famers who have played in various Legion Leagues nationwide.

   Members of Leyden-Chiles-Wickersham Post #1 believe it is important that we continue to support this activity. However, it is difficult to continue funding without a fund-raising effort. We are therefore, asking our friends to assist us in contributing to our Baseball program. We have 50 young boys who depend on us to provide the backing for their summer baseball.
